- Bentz named Rookie of the Week, Earlie named to Honor Roll -
New York, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the fourth Women's Tennis report for the 2011 season this afternoon, including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Honor Roll and Conference statistics.
Freshman Alexandra Bentz (Massapequa, N.Y.) was named the Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week for women's tennis. Bentz kept her undefeated streak going with two wins in a 5-4 loss to Brooklyn. She won 6-3, 6-3 at #2 singles and is now 5-0 overall at 2nd singles and 4-0 in 2nd doubles.
Junior Laura Earlie (Moriches, N.Y.) was named to the Skyline Conference Player of the Week Honor Roll. Laura picked up two wins vs. Brooklyn, including a 6-3, 6-1 singles win to improve to 5-0 at #5 singles and 3-0 in doubles on the season.
