Brooklyn, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State women's tennis team fell for the first time this season to Brooklyn College in a non-conference match on Thursday in Brooklyn, N.Y. The Rams (4-1) held a 2-1 advantage after doubles play, but a close match at 3rd singles would give Brooklyn the 5-4 victory.
Freshman Alexandra Bentz (Massapequa Park, N.Y.) and junior Laura Earlie (Moriches, N.Y./William Floyd) both remain undefeated this season. Bentz is currently 5-0 at 2nd singles, while Earlie is 5-0 at 5th singles. They are also both undefeated in doubles matches this season.
Farmingdale State will now host NYU-Poly on Wednesday, September 28th at 4:00 p.m.
