Farmingdale State - 6, Baruch College - 3
Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State women's tennis team improved to 4-0 overall with a 6-3 victory over Baruch College (0-3) today in Farmingdale, N.Y. The Rams fourth straight win marks the best start since the program started in 2007.
Farmingdale State got out to a 2-1 start after doubles play with a 8-4 win at #1 singles and 8-3 win at #2 singles.
Rams freshmen Alex Bentz (Massapequa Park, N.Y.) and Liliya Dyakiv (Shirley, N.Y) picked up wins in singles play, along with juniors Kristina Rossano (Franklin Square, N.Y.) and Laura Earlie (Moriches, N.Y.) to secure the victory.
Farmingdale State will now host CCNY on Tuesday, September 20th at 4:00 p.m.
