2010 Women's Tennis Recap
Farmingdale, N.Y. - The women's tennis team finished the season with an overall record of 3-6, 2-5 in the Skyline Conference.
Freshman Jamie Prendergast (Long Beach, N.Y.) finished the season with a 4-4 record in #3 singles. Prendergast teamed with sophomore Vanessa Josma (Massapequa, N.Y.) in first doubles and the pair posted a 3-5 record.
Sophomore Laura Earlie (Moriches, N.Y.), the #4 singles player for Farmingdale State, held a 4-4 record, while senior Simonette Clarke (Amityville, N.Y.) was 3-3 at fifth singles. Sophomore Regina Cane (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) played first singles for the Rams and her and Earlie held a 5-3 record as doubles teammates.
Clarke will be the only player graduating from this year's team as Farmingdale State looks to get back into the Skyline Conference playoffs in 2011.
