MADISON, N.J. | Five different student-athletes tallied multi-point games for the Farmingdale State College women's lacrosse team Tuesday night at Ranger Stadium, as the Rams dropped a 20-10 decision at Drew University.

Junior attacker Nicole Pontecorvo (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) led FSC (2-5) with a hat trick and one assist, while senior Marina Zumbrunn (Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) and junior Megan Diamond (Dix Hills, N.Y.) added two goals and one assist apiece. Senior Ashley Codispoti (Patchogue, N.Y.) recorded a two-goal evening, while junior attacker Anna Hughes (Bethpage, N.Y.) checked in with one goal and an assist. Sophomore midfielder Molly Espey (W. Hempstead, N.Y.) controlled four draws for the Rams, with the duo of Dominique Baldino (Jr.; Island Park, N.Y.) and Kailee Coppola (Fr.; Levittown, N.Y.) causing two turnovers apiece. The Rams were opportunistic at the eight-meter fan, converting 4-of-10 free position shots on the day.

Pontecorvo opened the scoring 47 seconds into play off a pass from Diamond, before Hughes doubled the visitors' lead with 8:11 on the clock in the first period. Drew (4-4) bagged the next three goals of the contest, before Pontecorvo converted a feed from Zumbrunn with 37 seconds remaining to level the score at 3-all after the opening 15 minutes of action.

Diamond gave Farmingdale State a 4-3 lead in an extra-player situation 1:55 into the second, before the Rangers ripped off 12 of the next 13 goals to lead at the half by a 15-5 count.

Five of the six goals in the third frame went to the Rams, including a pair by Zumbrunn and free-position markers by Diamond, Codispoti and Pontecorvo to bring the visitors to with a 16-10 margin with one period to go. 

Farmingdale State senior goalie Ronnie Reilly (Oceanside, N.Y.) made 14 saves for head coach Erin Calkins's Rams, who open up Skyline Conference play at home on Saturday with a noon opening draw against St. Joseph's-Long Island.
