Grand Lake, Colo. - The IWLCA (Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association) has honored 256 student-athletes in Division III with a selection to one of the All-Region teams for 2017. These student-athletes are now eligible for inclusion on the IWLCA All-American teams, which will be announced on Friday, May 19. The IWLCA will honor the National All-Americans at the IWLCA All-American Banquet on Saturday June 3, 2017 at the Hunt Valley Inn in Hunt Valley, Md.

Farmingdale State, who claimed the Skyline Championship, their first-ever NCAA Tournament win and finished 18-2 this season, had three players selected as Boardwalk All-Region. Senior midfielder Brittany Rosino (North Babylon, N.Y.) was named First Team, while sophomore goalkeeper Tori Johnston (Hauppauge, N.Y.) and senior attack Janisha Sanchez (Brentwood, N.Y.) were named to the Second Team.

Rosino, the Skyline Offensive Player of the Year, led the team with 56 goals and 19 assists for 75 points, along with 106 draw controls, 45 ground balls and 35 caused turnovers. She led the conference in draws and caused turnovers per game, while finishing 6th for goals and 8th for points.

Johnston, who was also named the Skyline Tournament MVP and Skyline Defensive Player of the Year, finished the season leading the Conference in goals against average (8.41) and save percentage (.548). She ranks #11 in the Nation for save percentage.

Sanchez, a Second-Team All-Skyline selection, who posted a school record 72 assists this season, finished the year with 92 points (the 3rd most in school history). She not only led the team and conference in assists, but led the Nation and is ranked #18 for points. She leaves FSC with the 3rd most assists in school history.
