Janisha graduated from Brentwood High School in 2012, where she was the captain of her varsity women's lacrosse team. Janisha was named the Most Improved Player for soccer and was an Unsung Hero Award winner for lacrosse. She is the daughter of Rosa M. Garcia.

Senior year...Named IWLCA Second Team All-Boardwalk Region and Second Team All-Conference...Started all 20 games...Broke the school record for assists in one season...Led the team points (92) and ranked fourth in ground balls (30)...Led the conference and the Nation in assists.

Junior year...Started all 18 games...Led the team in assists (30), ranked second in points (45) and fourth in both ground balls (23) and shots (44)...Ranked fourth in the conference for assists per game (1.67)...Also ranked 68th in the nation in assists.

Sophomore year...Started all 20 games...Ranked fifth on the team in assists (16) and eighth in both goals (14) and points (30)...Third on the Rams with 20 caused turnovers...Ranked 10th in the Skyline with a 0.8 assist per game average.
