INDIANAPOLIS | The NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Committee has selected the 44 teams that will compete in the 2023 NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Championship.

Farmingdale State (14-3) opens with a first-round match against Baruch College (14-4) on Friday, May 5th at 12:00 p.m. The winner will play host and second-ranked Tufts University (20-1) in the Second Round on Saturday at 10 a.m.

FSC and the Bearcats met earlier this season (Match Results) on March 21st, with Baruch earning a 7-2 win over the Rams.

Tufts is also hosting another Second Round match on Saturday, as #21 Swarthmore (14-3) and #37 MIT (15-3) will meet at 2 p.m.

The two Second Round winners will meet in the Third Round on Sunday at noon to determine the advancing team from the pod.

FSC earned their spot in the Tournament after defeating top-seeded Manhattanville, 5-2, in the Skyline Final last week. Senior Mark Baker (Baldwin, N.Y.) was named the Most Outstanding Player of the Skyline Championship, just the fourth two-time recipient of the honor.

Baruch punched their ticket to the NCAA Championship after sweeping past John Jay and Hunter in the CUNYAC Championship.

This year, teams will play a single-elimination tournament with the first-, second- and third-rounds played at regional sites, Friday-Sunday, May 5-7, or Thursday-Saturday, May 4-6.  The United States Tennis Association, Oglethorpe University and the Greater Orlando Sports Commission will host the team championships finals, which will be held May 13-16 at USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida.
