Alan is a 2020 graduate of Connetquot High School, where he earned All-County honors twice and was named All-State. Alan was also a two-time team MVP and won the State Sportsmanship Award. He is the son of Senad and Alma Sabovic.
2023...All-Skyline Conference First Team...went 12-2 in singles play (12-1 at No. 2; 5-0 Skyline), tying for the third-most single-season victories in school history...tallied a 14-3 doubles mark, which included a 6-0 Skyline slate and a 12-2 ledger at the No. 2 flight.
2022...All-Skyline Conference First Team...Skyline Conference All-Sportsmanship Team...registered a 9-3 record in singles play, including marks of 8-3 at No. 2 and 5-0 in conference action...went 9-7 during doubles (5-2 Skyline), predominantly at the No. 1 flight.
