
Adelphi - 8, Farmingdale State - 1
Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's tennis team played host to Division II Adelphi University on Monday afternoon and fell, 8-1.
At first doubles, the FSC pairing of sophomore Mark Baker (North Baldwin, N.Y.) and freshman Sean Cohen (Plainview, N.Y.) recorded an 8-6 victory over Adelphi's Gabriel Balestero (Sao Paulo, Brazil) and Valentin Le Goupil-Maier (Oceanside, N.Y.). The Rams dropped the second and third doubles matches by scores of 8-3 and 8-0, respectively.
The Panthers won all six singles matches en route to the 8-1 victory.
The Rams will close out their fall season with a home match against Suffolk CC on Thursday night at 6:00 p.m.
