Men's Tennis to Face Johns Hopkins in Second Round of NCAA's

Indianapolis, Ind. - The NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Committee has selected the 37 teams that will compete in the 2021 NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Championships.

Farmingdale State (6-1) has drawn a Second Round match against Johns Hopkins University (8-0) on Friday, May 14th in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.

The host-school for the five-team pod is North Carolina Wesleyan (20-2). The hosts will play the winner of Thursday's First Round match between Drew University (10-0) and Lancaster Bible College (Penn.) (11-1) on Friday at 10:00 a.m.

The two Second Round winners will meet in the Sweet 16 on Saturday, May 15th.

FSC earned the Skyline Conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament after defeating #1 Manhattanville, 5-4, in the Skyline Conference Final on Sunday. Senior Zachary Baker (Carmel, N.Y.) was named the Most Outstanding Player of the Championship.

Johns Hopkins won their 14th straight Centennial Conference title to claim their place in the NCAA's. The Blue Jays have 40 straight conference victories.

The teams will play a single-elimination tournament with the first, second- and third-rounds played at predetermined sites, Thursday-Saturday, May 13-15. The University of the South and the Chattanooga Sports Commission will host the team championships finals, which will be held May 24-26 at Champions Tennis Club in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
