Purchase, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's tennis team traveled to Manhattanville today for a Skyline Conference match and fell, 7-2. The Rams dropped their first match of the season and now stand at 2-1.
The Valiants (3-1) claimed all three points in doubles competition.
In singles play, the Rams earned wins in the second and sixth positions. Sophomore Mark Baker (North Baldwin, N.Y.) notched a 6-4, 6-0 victory in the second slot, while junior Cooper Everett (Long Beach, N.Y.) tallied a 6-4, 6-0 win at #6 singles.
FSC next will travel to Merchant Marine for a Skyline Conference match on Saturday, May 1st at noon.
