Men's Tennis Falls at Home to Manhattanville

Farmingdale, N.Y. - In their final match of the fall season, the Farmingdale State men's tennis team hosted Manhattanville this afternoon and fell, 9-0. The Rams now stand at 0-2 on the year, while the Valiants improved to 2-1.

The Rams dropped the first and second doubles matches by scores of 8-1 and lost 8-5 in the third position.

At #1 and #2 singles, FSC's Steven Gaudio (Miller Place, N.Y.) and Colby Rodriguez (Huntington Station, N.Y.) each fell, 6-1, 6-0. In the #3 slot, freshman Mario Contreras (Southold, N.Y.) was defeated by scores of 6-1 and 6-2. Stephano Dasaro lost 6-4, 6-2 at fourth singles and Michael Baranowski was outscored 6-3, 6-1 in the fifth position. Sophomore Michael Iorio (Massapequa, N.Y.) was defeated 6-1, 6-0 at sixth singles as Manhattanville recorded the 9-0 victory.
