Newburgh, N.Y. - In a Skyline Conference men's tennis match this afternoon, Farmingdale State traveled to Mount Saint Mary and fell, 6-3. The Rams now stand at 7-9 overall and 3-4 in the Skyline, while the Knights improved to 8-6, 5-3.
FSC earned one point in doubles play as the pair of sophomore Josh Kaplan (Greenlawn, N.Y.) and freshman Joseph Napoli (Farmingdale, N.Y.) carded an 8-3 victory in the #3 position.
In singles, the Rams recorded points in the fifth and sixth slots with wins by sophomore James Roth (Massapequa, N.Y.) (6-0, 6-4) and freshman Stephano Dasaro (Glen Cove, N.Y.) (4-6, 6-2, 6-4).
Farmingdale State will close out the regular season tomorrow when they play host to St. Joseph's-Brooklyn at noon.
