Skyline Releases Men's Tennis Report #6
- Christian Bormann named Rookie of the Week -
Clifton Park, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the sixth Men's Tennis report for the 2011 season this afternoon, including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Honor Roll and Conference statistics.
Freshman Christian Bormann (Huntington, N.Y.) was named Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week for men's tennis. Bromann was 2-1 at #1 singles and 3-0 at #1 doubles as Farmingdale State posted a 3-0 mark in league action on the week. Christian earned a 7-6 (7-3), 6-1 singles win versus NYU-Poly. He improved to 6-1 in doubles from the top flight after posting an 8-2 decision over NYU-Poly. This is the third Rookie of the Week honor Bormann has captured this season.
Senior Joe Passarella (Flushing, N.Y.) was named to the Skyline Conference Player of the Week Honor Roll. Passarella was 3-0 at #2 singles and 3-0 at #1 doubles as the Rams earned three Skyline victories this week.
