Skyline Releases Men's Tennis Report #4
- Bormann named Rookie of the Week, Passarella named to Honor Roll -
Clifton Park, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the fourth Men's Tennis report for the 2011 season this afternoon, including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Honor Roll and Conference statistics.
Freshman Christian Bormann (Huntington, N.Y.) was named Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week for men's tennis. Bormann earned a 6-1, 6-3 victory at first singles as Farmingdale State posted a 6-3 win over Mount Saint Mary. Bormann earned a hard-fought 9-8 (7-5) win at No. 1 doubles. Christian has been named the Skyline Rookie of the Week for the second consecutive week.
Senior Joe Passarella (Flushing, N.Y.) was named to the Skyline Conference Player of the Week Honor Roll. Passarella notched a 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 2 singles on March 26th in a 6-3 win over Mount Saint Mary.
