Skyline Releases Men's Tennis Report #3
- Passarella named Player of the Week, Bormann Rookie of the Week -
Clifton Park, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the third Men's Tennis report for the 2011 season this afternoon, including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Honor Roll and Conference statistics.
Senior Joe Passarella (Flushing, N.Y.) was named the Skyline Conference Player of the Week for men's tennis. Passarella registered a 6-0, 6-1 victory at No. 2 singles as Farmingdale State opened its season with a 9-0 win over Bard. Joe also earned an 8-1 victory at No. 1 doubles.
Freshman Christian Bormann (Huntington, N.Y.) was named Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week. Bormann posted wins at first singles (6-0, 6-0 ) as the Rams defeated Bard. In first doubles, Bormann paired with Passarella and the team picked up an 8-1 victory.
