Three Rams Receive All-Skyline Men's Tennis Honors
Lawrenceville, N.J. - The Farmingdale State men's tennis team had three players receive All-Skyline Conference Honors this season. Sophomore Joe Passarella (Flushing, N.Y./Holy Cross) was named First Team All- Skyline, while freshman Tom Johnsen (Hauppauge, N.Y./Hauppauge) and senior Matt Kaczmarczyk (West Babylon, N.Y./West Babylon) were named to the Second Team. Farmingdale State head coach Adam Waterhouse was named Skyline Conference Coach of the Year and the team received the Sportsmanship Award.
Passarella finished the year with a 6-4 record at #1 singles and was 6-3 in #1 doubles. He closed out the regular season by winning his last three singles and doubles matches.
Johnsen, playing in his first collegiate season, finished with a perfect 10-0 record in #3 singles. Playing mainly #2 doubles, Johnsen finished the season with an 8-2 record.
Kaczmarczyk held a 7-3 record at #2 singles and the same 7-3 record playing most of the season in the #1 doubles position.
