Thomas Johnsen Named Skyline Rookie of the Week
Lawrenceville, N.J. - Freshman Thomas Johnsen
(Hauppauge, N.Y./Hauppauge) was named Skyline Conference Rookie of
the Week for men's tennis on Monday, March 16th.
Johnsen was a double-winner in his collegiate debut, earning
victories at third singles and second doubles in the Rams’
7-2 Skyline Conference victory over Yeshiva. In
doubles action, Johnsen teamed with Chris Genzmann for an 8-5
victory. At third singles, he then earned a hard-fought three-set
victory over Joseph Itkis (6-4, 2-6, 6-3).
