Jake graduated from Rocky Point High School in 2018 where he was All-County and All-Division for lacrosse his senior year. Jake was a recipient of the Fran McCall Long Island Lacrosse Metropolitan Unsung Hero of the Year Award in 2017 and also earned All-Division football honors (2015). He was also team captain and scored 168 career high school points. Jake is the son of Dennis Wandle and Mary Nentwich.
2022...Second-Team All-Skyline Conference...started in all 15 appearances, ranking third on the team in goals (34), assists (22) and points (56)...2.27 goals per game were the fifth-best average in the Skyline, while his assists (1.47) and points (3.73) marks ranked fifth and fourth, respectively.
Sophomore year...Named Second Team All-Conference...Started all nine games and ranked third on the Rams in both assists (12) and points (28), was fourth in goals (16) and man-up goals (1) and fifth for caused turnovers (5)...Finished the season fourth in the Skyline in assists, seventh for points, ninth in goals and assists per game (1.33) and 10th for goals per game (1.78).
Freshman year...Played in 15 games, with 10 starts...Ranked second on the team in man-up goals (2) and seventh in both goals (19) and assists (10)...Scored the double-OT game-winner against Calvin State on March 20th.
