Haggerty Named USILA All-American

Louisville, KY - The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) announced the 2021 Dynamic Division III All-Americans, along with the award winners. Players selected for All-American were nominated by their coach and then received votes from the All-American Committee.

Farmingdale State senior attack Terrence Haggerty (Centerport, N.Y.) has been named USILA All-American Honorable Mention. He is the first Men's Lacrosse student-athlete to earn All-American status in school history.

Haggerty, who was tabbed the Skyline Conference Offensive Player of the Year, led conference with 43 goals, 4.78 goals per game, 15 assists, 58 points, 6.44 points per game, six man-up goals and 119 shots. He ranked fifth for assists per game (1.67) and picked up 17 ground balls. In the NCAA, Haggerty ranked eighth in goals per game, 13th for points per game and 43rd in man-up goals. 

Haggerty set new school records in points per game, goals per game and shots per game. His 6.44 points per game surpassed Sean McAleavy's mark of 5.73 set in 2001, the 4.78 goals per game bested Ryan Wieczorek's record of 3.83 from 2017 and his 13.22 shots per game beat Ryan LaFlare's record of 10.73 set in 2007.
