Farmingdale, N.Y. - The 2019 Farmingdale State men's lacrosse schedule has been announced by Head Coach Sean Chamberlain.
The Rams will play 17 regular season games this year including Skyline Conference matchups against St. Joseph's-Long Island (April 2), Mount Saint Mary (April 6), Purchase (April 13), Merchant Marine (April 18), Maritime (April 23) and Mount Saint Vincent (April 27). FSC will have Senior Night on Thursday, April 18th when they play host to defending Skyline Champions Merchant Marine at 7:00 p.m. The playoffs begin with the Semifinals on Wednesday, May 1st and conclude with the Finals on Saturday, May 4th. The winner will receive the conference's automatic bid to the 2019 NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Championship.
Farmingdale State opens the season with a home game against Mitchell College on Saturday, February 23rd at noon. The Rams will host four additional non-conference opponents highlighted by the Friday night matchup versus Cortland State on March 15th at 7:00 p.m. The men's lacrosse team will head to Montverde, Florida on Wednesday, March 20th for a spring break game against Calvin College.
In 2018, FSC entered the playoffs as the #4 seed and fell, 13-12, in OT in the Skyline Semifinals at top-seeded Merchant Marine.
