New York, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the spring weekly report #1 on Monday, February 26th, including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Honor Roll and Conference statistics.
Men's Lacrosse Update (1-0, 0-0 Skyline) - Skyline Full Report
Farmingdale State opened 2018 with a 22-1 home non-conference victory over Mitchell College.
Junior midfielder Conor McAvoy (East Setauket, N.Y.) was named Skyline Conference Player of the Week. McAvoy tallied a game-high five points on three goals and two assists to go along with three ground balls in the season opening win.
The men's lacrosse team will play two non-conference home games this week: Wednesday vs. Manhattanville @ 6:00 p.m. and Saturday vs. Neumann @ noon.
Women's Lacrosse Update (0-1, 0-0 Skyline)
The women's lacrosse team played host to Scranton in their season opener last week and fell, 17-3. This week the Rams will travel to Western Connecticut State for a non-conference game on Saturday at 3:00 p.m.
Indoor Track Update
The indoor track teams competed at the Fastrack Last Chance Qualifier at Ocean Breeze Track & Field Complex this past Saturday. Sophomore Samantha Pollucci (Bay Shore, N.Y.) led the way with a third place finish in the 200m in 25.99 as she moved to #2 all-time in the FSC record books.
This week the Rams will travel to Ithaca College for the Atlantic Regional on Friday and Saturday.
Baseball Update (0-0, 0-0 Skyline)
The baseball team opens the 2018 season this week with a home non-conference doubleheader (7-innings) against New Rochelle on Sunday.
Softball Update (0-0, 0-0 Skyline)
FSC kicks off the 2018 season with a Skyline doubleheader vs. Yeshiva (at Fordham) on Wednesday, March 7th at 6:00 p.m.
Men's Tennis Update (0-2, 0-0 Skyline)
The men's tennis team will begin their spring season on Wednesday, March 14th at York (NY) @ 4:00 p.m.
