Danbury, Conn. - The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has announced the Corvias Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week for the week ending March 26.
Farmingdale State freshman attack Ryan Wieczorek (West Islip, N.Y.) was named ECAC Division III South Rookie of the Week. Wieczorek registered 11 goals in a pair of victories for the Rams last week. He fired seven goals and scooped five ground balls versus FDU-Florham and tallied four goals on only six shots against Purchase. In Division III, Wieczorek currently ranks fourth in goals per game (4.22), 10th for man-up scores (6) and 24th in points per game (5.11).
