- Wieczorek named Rookie of the Week -


New York, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the Spring weekly report #2 on Monday, March 6th, including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Honor Roll and Conference statistics.

Men's Lacrosse Update (2-1, 0-0 Skyline) - Full Report

FSC was 1-1 in a pair of games last week with a 16-11 victory at Manhattanville and a 12-8 home loss to Eastern Connecticut.

Freshman attack Ryan Wieczorek (West Islip, N.Y.) was named Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week. This is Wieczorek's second weekly accolade in as many reports. He collected eight points (5G, 3A) and four ground balls in the victory over Manhattanville. He added a pair of assists and two ground balls in the game against Eastern Connecticut. Wieczorek has 15 points on the season which is the top-mark in the Skyline, while his 10 goals scored are tied at the top of the leader board.

Senior attack Tyler Rifice (Bohemia, N.Y.) was named to the Honor Roll after finishing the week with nine points on five goals and four assists.

The Rams will play two games this week: Wednesday vs. Western Connecticut @ 4:00 p.m. and Saturday at Hartwick @ noon.

Women's Lacrosse Update (0-0, 0-0 Skyline)

The Rams open 2017 this evening with a non-conference game against Manhattanville starting at 5:00 p.m. Later this week, FSC will host Scranton on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.

Baseball Update (0-0, 0-0 Skyline) - Full Report

This past weekend's games were cancelled due to weather. The Rams will travel to William Paterson on Tuesday for a single game at 3:00 p.m. before heading to Florida for their annual spring trip on Thursday.

Softball Update (0-0, 0-0 Skyline)

The softball team opens 2017 at the Rebel Spring Games in Florida on Saturday, March 11th versus Plattsburgh State.

Men's Tennis Update (1-2, 0-0 Skyline)

Farmingdale State's opening match at Rutgers-Camden was cancelled due to cold weather. The men's tennis team next will host York (NY) on Friday, March 24th at 4:30 p.m.
