Skyline Releases Spring Weekly Report #1

New York, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the Spring weekly report #1 on Tuesday, February 28th, including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Honor Roll and Conference statistics.

Men's Lacrosse Update (1-0, 0-0 Skyline) - Full Report

Farmingdale State opened the 2017 season with a 23-2 victory over Mitchell in a non-conference game last week.

Freshman attack Ryan Wieczorek (West Islip, N.Y.) was named Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week. Wieczorek scored a game-high five goals in the win for FSC.

Senior attack Tyler Rifice (Bohemia, N.Y.) was named to the Honor Roll after his five-point (2G, 3A) performance versus Mitchell.

The Rams will play two games this week: Wednesday at Manhattanville @ 7:00 p.m. and Saturday vs. Eastern Connecticut @ 2:30 p.m.

Women's Lacrosse Update (0-0, 0-0 Skyline)

The women's lacrosse team will play their first game of the season on Saturday when they host Manhattanville at noon.

Baseball Update (0-0, 0-0 Skyline)

FSC kicks off 2017 with a home doubleheader on Saturday versus Plattsburgh State starting at noon. The Rams will play a single game against Plattsburgh State on Sunday (noon).

Softball Update (0-0, 0-0 Skyline)

The softball team opens 2017 at the Rebel Spring Games in Florida on Saturday, March 11th versus Plattsburgh State.

Men's Tennis Update (1-2, 0-0 Skyline)

Farmingdale State will play their first match of the spring season on Sunday at Rutgers-Camden (1:00 p.m.)
