Rams Lacrosse Spreads Holiday Cheer in Suffolk

- Men's Lacrosse Brings Smiles to Long Island Children -

Farmingdale, N.Y. - On December 21st, Farmingdale State men's lacrosse teamed up with coaches and players from 91 Lacrosse and the staff of Dynamic Sports Marketing to bring holiday cheer to the kids at the Saul and Elaine Seiff Educare Center in Bohemia, N.Y. Amongst 12 rooms in the Center, the players and coaches distributed gifts and spent time with the children as Santa made his way to each room.

When asked about the event, Rams head coach Sean Chamberlain stated that "we like our student-athletes to be very active in the community and everyone involved had such a great time. The children at AHRC were very excited, as were our kids, who got just as much out of it."

Suffolk AHRC (Association for the Help of Retarded Children) realizes that it takes more than an Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) to help intellectually and physically disabled children reach their full potential. Students served in our Educare Center receive a combination of health and educational services tailored to support their strengths and abilities.
