New York, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the Spring weekly report #3 on Monday, March 16th, including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Pitcher of the Week, Honor Roll and Conference statistics.

Men's Lacrosse Update (3-1, 0-0 Skyline) - Full Report

FSC posted a pair of non conference wins over SUNY Canton (12-4) and Hartwick (10-6) last week.

Freshman attack Michael Cegielski (Somers, N.Y.) was named to the Player of the Week Honor Roll. Cegielski scored a career and game-high five goals in the Rams 10-6 win at Hartwick and tallied one goal and two assists in the victory over SUNY Canton.

This week the Rams will play three games: Tuesday at Roger Williams @ 4:00 p.m., Saturday vs. Eastern Connecticut @ 1:00 p.m. and Sunday vs. FDU-Florham @ 3:00 p.m.

Women's Lacrosse Update (0-1, 0-0 Skyline) - Full Report

The women's lacrosse team fell just short in a 9-8 loss at #20 Stevenson in their only contest last week. 

Senior midfielder Nicole Marzocca* (North Babylon, N.Y.) was named to the Honor Roll after recording a game-high five assists against Stevenson.

FSC will play a pair of road non-conference games this week: at Randolph-Macon on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. and at Oneonta on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.

Softball Update (3-5, 0-0 Skyline) - Full Report

In their first week of action at the Rebel Spring Games, Farmingdale State posted a 3-5 record. The Rams earned victories over Beloit (2-1), Mitchell (9-3) and Defiance (8-1).

Junior catcher Meagan Anderson (Patchogue, N.Y.) was named Skyline Conference Player of the Week. Anderson hit .414 (12-for-29) with six runs scored over eight games. She had four doubles, a triple and three RBI. Anderson went 4-for-5 with a pair of doubles in a 9-3 win over Mitchell on Mar. 11 and collected three hits on Mar.11 in the Rams' season-opening 2-1 victory against Beloit (MN). She had a .621 slugging percentage in the eight games.

FSC wraps up today in Florida and opens Skyline Conference play on Sunday, March 22nd with a doubleheader at Mount Saint Mary beginning at noon.

Baseball Update (0-3, 0-0 Skyline) - Full Report

The baseball team dropped the first three games of the season at the Rebel Spring Games in Port Charlotte, Florida.

This week the Rams face Manchester on Monday, Heidelberg (10:30 a.m. on Tuesday), Denison (11:00 a.m. on Wednesday), Manchester (3:00 p.m. on Wednesday), Mass-Boston (11:00 a.m. on Thursday) and Wooster (3:00 p.m. on Thursday).

Men's Tennis Update (0-0, 0-0 Skyline) - Full Report

FSC will open the spring season on Wednesday, March 18th against Hunter College (@ USTA Center) at 3:30 p.m.
