New York, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the Spring weekly report #1 on Monday, March 3rd, including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Pitcher of the Week, Honor Roll and Conference statistics.
Women's Lacrosse Update (1-0, 0-0 Skyline) - Full Report
The Rams earned an 11-8 non-conference win over Stevens in the teams season opener last week.
Junior midfielder Nicole Marzocca (North Babylon, N.Y.) was named Skyline Conference Player of the Week. She tallied a game-high four goals on eight shots, caused four turnovers and picked up three ground balls in the win.
Freshman goalkeeper Krista Spagnoletta (West Islip, N.Y.) earned Skyline Rookie of the Week honors after tallying 20 saves in her collegiate debut.
This week the women's lacrosse team will host Marywood in a non-conference game on Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. and then travel to Manhattanville on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
Men's Lacrosse Update (1-1, 0-0 Skyline) - Full Report
The men's lacrosse team fell 8-4 to Morrisville State before earning a 9-8 overtime win against Oneonta State.
Junior attack Philip Schaefer (Holbrook, N.Y.) was named to the Player of the Week Honor Roll. Schaefer tallied a game-high six points (4G 2A), including the game-winning score in overtime versus Oneonta. He also scored one goal and picked up four ground balls in the loss to Morrisville State.
Farmingdale State next will travel to Guilford on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. and Greensboro on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.

The opening weekend of baseball was cancelled due to the weather. Farmingdale State next will travel to Merchant Marine for a non-conference game on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m.
Softball Update (0-0, 0-0 Skyline)
The softball team will open the 2014 season at the NTC Spring Games in Clermont, Florida on Monday, March 10th.
Men's Tennis Update (0-0, 0-0 Skyline)
The Rams will open the season on Sunday, March 9th at Sarah Lawrence.
