Tim Tuttle Joins Coaching Staff for the German Men's National Lacrosse Team

Farmingdale, N.Y. - Germany's Head Coach Jack Kaley announced today that Tim Tuttle, the head men's lacrosse coach at Farmingdale State College, has joined the staff for the German Men's National Lacrosse Team. They will compete in the 2014 FIL World Games to be played next July in Denver, Colorado.

"Tim was one of the first coaches I contacted when looking for a new assistant coach for Team Germany. Tim was an assistant coach with me at NYIT and helped lead us to the 2005 NCAA Division II National Championship! His knowledge of the type of lacrosse I like to run made him the perfect candidate for the job", said Kaley.

Tuttle also played under Kaley at NYIT from 1993-1994 after transferring from Farmingdale State when the school was a junior college. Tuttle was a two time All-American at NYIT and in his senior year won the Ensign C. Markland Kelly Jr. Award which is given to the nation's top goalie.

"I'm tremendously honored to have this opportunity to join Coach Kaley's staff. I look forward to once again working with him to help the German National Team compete for the FIL World Cup", said Tuttle.

Coach Tuttle has spent the last six years as head coach at Farmingdale State College, where he has taken his teams to four conference semifinals and one conference championship game. He was named the 2011 Skyline Conference Coach of the Year.

Farmingdale State athletic director Michael Harrington stated, "I think this is a great opportunity for Tim to be working with this great group of coaches and get to experience working with some of the finest athletes in the world."
