Farmingdale State and Montclair State Tied for Top Spot in Men's Lacrosse Poll

New York, N.Y. - In the 2012 Skyline Conference Pre-Season Men's Lacrosse Coaches' Poll, Farmingdale State and Montclair State has tied as the pre-season picks to win the league.

Farmingdale State was 6-0 in conference play, and 10-5 overall, last year and have a veteran squad. They are led by senior attackman Ryan Oswald, who scored 2.50 points per game, and senior midfielder Jimmy Owsinski, who scored 1.87 points per game. Both were first-team All-Skyline selections for the Rams.

Montclair State, which compiled a 5-1 league mark and won the Skyline Tournament Championships and a berth in the NCAA Tournament, shares the top spot in the poll. The Red Hawks are sparked by sophomore attackman Jack Skeels and senior goalkeeper Mark Glander, who both earned Second Team All-Conference laurels.

Kean, which finished 3-3 in the league and 8-7 overall, is picked to finish third, followed by Richard Stockton, Maritime, Mount Saint Vincent and Mount Saint Mary.
