Skyline Releases Men's Lacrosse Report #9
- Bobby Thomas named Player of the Week -
Clifton Park, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the ninth Men's Lacrosse report for the 2011 season this afternoon, including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Honor Roll and Conference statistics.
Sophomore midfielder Bobby Thomas (Wantagh, N.Y.) was named Skyline Conference Player of the Week for men's lacrosse. Thomas scored eight goals and added seven assists as Farmingdale State captured the regular season title with victories over Richard Stockton (20-7) and Mount Saint Vincent (19-3). Thomas had four goals and four assists versus Richard Stockton and tallied four goals and three assists against Mount Saint Vincent. Bobby has now been named Skyline Player of the Week twice this season.
Freshman midfielder Al Rocco (Elmont, N.Y.) was named to the Skyline Conference Player of the Week Honor Roll. Rocco scored two goals and won 39-of-55 faceoffs in wins over Richard Stockton and Mount Saint Vincent.
