Skyline Releases Men's Lacrosse Report #5

- Siemsen named Rookie of the Week, Thomson named to Honor Roll -

Clifton Park, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the fifth Men's Lacrosse report for the 2010 season on Monday, March 29th, including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Honor Roll and Conference statistics.

Freshman attack Pete Siemsen (West Babylon, N.Y./West Babylon) was named Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week. Siemsen recorded 10 points on two goals and eight assists in a 1-1 week for the Rams. Siemsen assisted on seven of Farmingdale’s 10 goals in a 16-10 loss to Connecticut College. He had two goals and an assist as the Rams defeated Mount Saint Mary. Pete also picked up four ground balls in the two games. Siemsen leads Farmingdale State with 32 assists this season.

Sophomore attack Erick Thomson (Floral Park, N.Y./Floral Park) was named to the Skyline Conference Player of the Week Honor Roll. Thomson led the Rams with a team-high nine goals this week. He scored three is the loss to Connecticut College and added six in a win at Mount Saint Mary. Erick leads the team with 29 goals scored this season.
