Skyline Releases Men's Lacrosse Report #3

- Thomson named Player of the Week, Siemsen Rookie of the Week -

Clifton Park, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the third Men's Lacrosse report for the 2010 season on Monday, March 15th, including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Honor Roll and Conference statistics.

Sophomore attack Erick Thomson (Floral Park, N.Y./Floral Park) was named Skyline Conference Player of the Week. Thomson recorded 11 points on 10 goals and an assist in a 2-0 week for the Rams. Thomson scored four goals and added an assist and three ground balls in a 17-9 win over Briarcliffe. He then scored a game-high six goals in a 13-7 win over Clark (Mass.), including the first two of the fourth quarter to break open a close game.

Freshman attack Pete Siemsen (West Babylon, N.Y./West Babylon) was named Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week. Siemsen had four goals, six assists, ten points and nine ground balls in a 2-0 week for Farmingdale State. Siemsen notched a game-high eight points (four goals, four assists) along with five ground balls in a non-conference win over Briarcliffe. He added a pair of first-quarter assists against Clark (Mass.) to help the Rams open up a quick 4-1 lead. Siemsen now has 23 points (8-15) in his first four games.
