Skyline Releases Men's Lacrosse Report #2

- Maxwell named Player of the Week, Siemsen named to Honor Roll -

Clifton Park, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the second Men's Lacrosse report for the 2010 season on Monday, March 8th, including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Honor Roll and Conference statistics.

Senior attack Sean Maxwell (West Babylon, N.Y./West Babylon) was named Skyline Conference Player of the Week. Maxwell led the Rams to a 1-1 start by recording 12 points on seven goals and five assists. Maxwell, who also picked up six ground balls, scored four goals in a season-opening 16-12 win over Oswego State. His goal with 10 seconds left in the third quarter snapped an 11-11 tie and gave the Rams the lead for good. Maxwell added three goals and three assists in a 22-15 loss to Plattsburgh.

Freshman attack Pete Siemsen (West Babylon, N.Y./West Babylon) was named to the Skyline Conference Player of the Week Honor Roll. Pete had two goals, four assists and five ground balls in his first game at Farmingdale. He scored two goals and had a game-high five assists against Plattsburgh State. Siemsen led the team in assists (9), points (13) and was second with 14 ground balls this week.
