
Farmingdale, N.Y. - For the fourth time in the last five seasons, the Farmingdale State men's basketball team has claimed the #1 seed for the Skyline Conference Men's Basketball Championship. The Rams finished the regular season with a 14-2 record in conference play and have earned home court advantage throughout the playoffs.
Top-seeded FSC will host #8 Sarah Lawrence in the quarterfinals on Tuesday, February 22nd at 7:00 p.m. The winner of that contest will advance to Thursday's semifinals round and will play the winner of fifth-seeded St. Joseph's-Long Island and fourth-seeded Manhattanville.
On the other side of the bracket, the United States Merchant Marine Academy is the #2 seed and will play host to #7 Mount Saint Vincent at 7 p.m. on Tuesday night.
The winner of the Mariners/Dolphins tilt will advance to Thursday night action, where they will face the winning side from Tuesday's 8 p.m. contest between sixth-seeded Purchase College and#3-seed Yeshiva University.
The championship final will take place February 26th at the highest-remaining seed, with the winner earning the Skyline's automatic bid to the following week's 2022 NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Championship.
