New York, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference's 12 head men's basketball coaches have cast their votes in the 2019-20 edition of the preseason coaches poll, and Purchase College and Yeshiva University find themselves voted to finish atop the North and South Divisions, respectively. This season marks the return of two, six-team divisions for the first time since the 2016-17 season.

Farmingdale State was chosen to finish second in the South Division as they received one first-place vote and were 12 points behind the Maccabees. The Rams will return nine players from last season, including seven seniors. Senior guard Ryan Kennedy (Maspeth, N.Y.) averaged 11.2 points per game as he shot 39.3% from the field and 85.2% at the free-throw line. Senior forward Jermaine Fraser (Valley Stream, N.Y.) totaled 6.2 points and 4.9 rebounds per game, while senior guard Anthony Miller Jr. (Yonkers, N.Y.) held a 1.9 assist/turnover ratio, a mark that ranked third in the Skyline Conference last year.

FSC is set to open their season with an exhibition game at Division I Stony Brook University on Monday, November 11th at 7:00 p.m.

The 2020 Skyline Conference Men's Basketball Championship will take place on campus sites, commencing on February 25th, with semifinals and final action taking place on February 27th and 29th, respectively.
