Riefenstahl and Graham Earn All-Met Honors

New York, N.Y. - The Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association released their 2018-19 Division III men's basketball award winners on Wednesday, April 24th. Farmingdale State senior forward George Riefenstahl (Bayport, N.Y.) was named Second Team All-Met, while senior guard Matthew Graham (Valley Stream, N.Y.) earned Third Team All-Met honors.

Riefenstahl, who earns a spot on the Second Team for the third consecutive year, started all 28 games this season and led the team in rebounding (10.6 rpg) and blocks (65) and was second in scoring (14.1 ppg) and field-goal percentage (.528). Riefenstahl ranked second in the Skyline in both rebounding and blocks and was fourth for field-goal percentage. In the NCAA, he was 13th with 303 total rebounds, 17th in blocks and 18th with 15 double-doubles.

Graham started 27-of-28 games this season and led the team with 16.0 points per game. He also led the team in free-throw percentage (88.9%) and A/TO ratio (1.6), ranked second in assists (2.6 apg), 3-point field-goal percentage (38.5%) and steals (1.0 spg). Graham was the conference leader in free-throw percentage, ranked third in A/TO ratio, fifth in 3-point field-goal percentage, seventh in 3-point field goals made per game (2.5) and 14th for scoring. He also ranked 18th in the NCAA for free-throw percentage.
