- Hurt earns Player of the Week honors - 


New York, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the Winter weekly report #10 on Monday, February 4th, including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Honor Roll and Conference statistics for men's and women's basketball. The New Jersey Athletic Conference released their Track, Field and Rookie Athletes of the Week for men's and women's indoor track.

Women's Basketball Update (6-15, 6-8 Skyline) - Skyline Full Report

The women's basketball team was 1-1 in a pair of conference games last week after a victory over Sarah Lawrence (90-26) and a loss to Mount Saint Mary (63-61).

Sophomore guard Destiny Hurt (Long Beach, N.Y.) was named Skyline Conference Player of the Week. Hurt averaged 27 points, seven rebounds, four assists and five steals per game for the Rams. She scored a Skyline season-high 36 points (17-for-26 FG) to go with seven boards, five steals and four assists Thursday against Sarah Lawrence. Hurt added 18 points, seven rebounds, five steals and four assists Saturday at conference-leading Mount Saint Mary.

This week FSC will play a pair of Skyline Conference home games: Wednesday vs. St. Joe's-LI @ 5:30 p.m. and Saturday (Senior Day) vs. St. Joe's-Brooklyn @ noon.

 

Men's Basketball Update (14-7, 12-4 Skyline) - Skyline Full Report

The Rams posted a perfect 3-0 mark last week after recording Skyline wins over Maritime (85-70), Sarah Lawrence (73-70) and Mount Saint Mary (70-63).

This week the men's basketball team is slated to play two conference home games: Wednesday vs. St. Joseph's-Long Island @ 8:00 p.m. and Saturday (Senior Day) vs. St. Joseph's-Brooklyn @ 2:30 p.m.

 

Indoor Track Update - NJAC Men's Full Report      NJAC Women's Full Report

This past week the Farmingdale State men's and women's indoor track teams competed at the NYC DIII Invitational at the New Balance Track & Field Center in New York, N.Y.

FSC next will travel to Ocean Breeze Park Track & Field Complex in Staten Island, N.Y. for the Fastrack National Invitational on Friday.
