Graham Named Met Basketball Writers Honorable Mention Player of the Week

New York, N.Y. - Farmingdale State senior guard Matthew Graham (Valley Stream, N.Y.) was named Met Basketball Writers Division II/III Honorable Mention Player of the Week. This week's Player of the Week recipients were Hofstra's Justin Wright-Foreman (Division I) and Conor McGuinness of Adelphi (Division II/III).

Graham currently leads FSC in scoring as he is averaging 15.6 points per game and shooting a conference-best 91% at the free-throw line. In Farmingdale State's three games last week, Graham scored a team-high 25.3 points per game, while shooting 51% from the floor, 58% from behind the arc and 96% at the line. In the double OT victory at Mount Saint Vincent, he poured in 31 points and followed with a new career-high 32 points at Purchase. Graham closed out the 2-1 week for the Rams with 13 points on 4-of-6 shooting at SJC-LI.

Farmingdale State next will travel to Merchant Marine tonight for a Skyline Conference game at 7:30 p.m.
