Indoor Track Update - NJAC Men's Full Report      NJAC Women's Full Report

The indoor track teams traveled to the Ocean Breeze Park Track & Field Complex for the Division I Wagner College Invitational last week.

Junior Justin Percival (Melville, N.Y.) was named Men's Track Athlete of the Week and sophomore Marina Magoulas (Islip, N.Y.) was tabbed Women's Field Athlete of the Week.

Percival captures his second consecutive NJAC Indoor Track Athlete of the Week honor after posting two ECAC qualifying times in the first meet back after the winter hiatus. He competed in the 60m and 200m at the Wagner College Invitational, which featured competition from all three NCAA divisions. He clocked a 6.93 in the 60m as he finished third overall and as the top Division III runner. That time is second in the NJAC this year only to his own season-best 6.92. He also clocked a 22.15 in the 200m, marking the top time in the conference so far this season and the ninth-fastest time nationally. He finished second overall out of 49, and was the top D3 runner in that event as well.

Magoulas collects her first NJAC Indoor Field Athlete of the Week honor after a pair of strong performances at the Wagner College Invitational to open the new calendar year. She tossed a 12.27 meters in the weight throw, where she was the top Division III competitor in the event that included athletes from all three NCAA divisions. That mark is also the fifth-farthest toss so far this season in the NJAC. She also posted a shot put throw of 8.68 meters, marking the second-farthest shot put toss by a Ram this season.

This week FSC will compete at the University of Albany Great Dane Classic at Ocean Breeze on Saturday.
