FSC Athletics Winter Update #3

New York, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the Winter weekly report #3 on Monday, December 3rd, including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Honor Roll and Conference statistics for men's and women's basketball.

Men's Basketball Update (4-2, 2-0 Skyline) - Skyline Full Report

The men's basketball team was 1-1 last week after falling to Wesleyan (85-71) and defeating Maritime (90-58).

FSC seniors Matthew Graham (995 points) and George Riefenstahl (994 points) are approaching the 1,000 career point milestone. There have been five players at Farmingdale State to score 1,000 points in their career.

This week the Rams will play three Skyline Conference games: Tuesday at Old Westbury @ 5:00 p.m., Thursday vs. Merchant Marine @ 8:00 p.m. and Saturday vs. Purchase @ 2:30 p.m.

 

Women's Basketball Update (0-4, 0-1 Skyline) - Skyline Full Report

In their only game last week, the women's basketball team traveled to Albertus Magnus and fell, 75-45.

This week Farmingdale State is slated to play three conference games: Tuesday at Old Westbury @ 7:00 p.m., Thursday vs. Merchant Marine @ 5:30 p.m. and Saturday vs. Purchase @ 12:00 p.m. 

  

Indoor Track Update

The indoor track teams traveled to the Ocean Breeze Park Track & Field Complex in Staten Island, N.Y. for their first meet of the season on Saturday. The Rams were led by juniors Justin Percival (Melville, N.Y.) and Thomas Franks (Coram, N.Y.). Percival took second in the 60m (7.05) and Franks recorded a second place finish in the weight throw (45' 6.25").

This week FSC will head to St. Anthony's High School in South Huntington, N.Y. for the St. John's "Bill Ward" Invitational on Sunday.
