New York, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the Winter weekly report #2 on Monday, November 27th, including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Honor Roll and Conference statistics for men's and women's basketball.
Men's Basketball Update (1-2, 0-1 Skyline)
The Rams dropped a pair of games last week to St. Joseph's-Brooklyn (71-70) and New Jersey City University (77-70).
Junior guard Ali Mableton (Brentwood, N.Y.) was named to the Skyline Player of the Week Honor Roll. Mableton averaged a team-high 21 points, while shooting 72-percent from the floor last week. He scored 13 points (6-for-10 shooting) against St. Joe's-Brooklyn and followed with a game and career-high 29 points on 12-of-15 shooting in the non-conference loss to New Jersey City.
This week FSC will play two home games: Wednesday vs. Lehman @ 7:00 p.m. and Saturday vs. Maritime (CYO Day) @ noon.

Women's Basketball Update (1-4, 0-0 Skyline)
Farmingdale State played two non-conference road games last week and fell to both Brooklyn College (76-73 OT) and Division I Stony Brook University (76-25).
Senior forward Essence Casey (Huntington Station, N.Y.) was tabbed to the Honor Roll after averaging 15 points and 9.5 rebounds per game. Casey scored a game-high 22 points to go along with 11 rebounds, three assists and three steals in the OT loss at Brooklyn College and added eight points and eight rebounds at Stony Brook
This week the women's basketball team is slated to play three games: Tuesday vs. Yeshiva (at The College of New Rochelle) @ 7:00 p.m., Wednesday vs. Old Westbury @ 6:00 p.m. and Saturday vs. #3 Amherst @ 3:00 p.m.

Indoor Track Update
The FSC indoor track teams begin the 2017-18 season on Friday, December 1st at the Fasttrack Season Opener held at the Ocean Breeze Track & Field Complex in Staten Island, N.Y.
