Winter Weekly Report #10

New York, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the Winter weekly report #10 on Monday, February 1st, including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Honor Roll and Conference statistics for men's and women's basketball. The New Jersey Athletic Conference released the Track Athlete, Field Athlete and Rookie of the Week selections for men's and women's indoor track.

Men's Basketball Update (8-11, 8-6 Skyline) - Full Report

The Rams suffered losses in both conference games last week versus Old Westbury (77-73 OT) and Maritime (73-63).

This week the men's basketball team will play two games: Wednesday at Sarah Lawrence @ 7:00 p.m. and Saturday home vs. Mount Saint Mary @ 3:00 p.m.

Women's Basketball Update (6-13, 5-6 Skyline) - Full Report

In their only game last week, FSC traveled to Mount Saint Vincent and fell, 92-73.

Sophomore guard Tyra Harrison (Baldwin, N.Y.) was named to the Player of the Week Honor Roll after recording 26 points, five rebounds, five assists and five steals at MSV.

The women's basketball team will host Mount Saint Mary on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. this week.

Indoor Track Update - Men's Full Report     Women's Full Report

The indoor track teams competed at the Ramapo Indoor Select Meet at the New Balance Track & Field Center in New York, N.Y. last week.

Senior Jovanni Parkinson (Wyandanch, N.Y.) won the 400m with a season-best NJAC time of 49.82, while sophomore Idowu Bamisile (Brooklyn, N.Y.) took fourth in the 60m hurdles and broke his own school record with a time of 8.46. In the weight throw, sophomore Jyaire Ewa (North Massapequa, N.Y.) won the event with a distance of 17.66m.

The Rams have a week off before traveling to St. Anthony's in Melville, N.Y. for the Molloy Invitational on Friday, February 12th.
