2014-15 Men's Basketball Season Recap


Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's basketball team finished the 2014-15 season with an 8-17 record, including 6-12 in the Skyline Conference.

Junior forward Anthony Lanieri (Lake Grove, N.Y.) finished the year with team-leading 7.9 points per game. Senior guard Justin Bailey (Jamaica, N.Y.) averaged 7.8 points and was third on FSC in assists (20) and steals (19), while sophomore forward Weldon Irvine (Queens, N.Y.) recorded a team-high 7.9 rebounds per game. Junior forward Marques Underwood (Bronx, N.Y.) shot a team-best 59% from the floor and averaged just over six rebounds per contest.

Freshman forward Eriq Williams (Valley Stream, N.Y.) led the Rams in blocked shots (22) and was second on the team in field goal percentage (.449), free-throw percentage (.744) and rebounding (6.2 rpg).

Bailey and Greg Cecere (Island Park, N.Y.) finished their playing careers at Farmingdale State this season.
