New York, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the Winter weekly report #11 on Monday, February 2nd, including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Honor Roll and Conference statistics for men's and women's basketball.
Women's Basketball Update (10-8, 5-0 Skyline) - Full Report
The Rams posted victories in a pair of Skyline Conference games last week. FSC defeated Purchase, 78-58, on Thursday and followed with a 76-50 home win over Yeshiva on Sunday.
Junior guard Andrea Desvignes (Deer Park, N.Y.) was named to the Player of the Week Honor Roll. She registered a team-high 25 points, had five assists and four steals vs. Purchase and totaled 15 points, four assists and four steals against Yeshiva. Desvignes finished the week shooting 49% from the floor.
This week the women's basketball team will play three conference games: Tuesday at Mount Saint Vincent @ 7:00 p.m., Thursday vs. Mount Saint Mary @ 5:00 p.m. and Saturday at Mount Saint Mary @ 1:00 p.m.
Men's Basketball Update (5-13, 3-8 Skyline) - Full Report
Farmingdale State was 1-1 last week with a 62-53 win at Maritime on Saturday and a 73-68 loss at St. Joe's on Wednesday.
Junior forward Marques Underwood (Bronx, N.Y.) was named to the Honor Roll after recording a double-double in both games. He scored 10 points and had 11 rebounds vs. St. Joe's and recorded 17 points, 11 boards and three blocks against Maritime. Underwood shot a team-best 83% from the field.
FSC this week will host Mount Saint Mary on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. and travel to Purchase on Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
