New York, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the Winter weekly report #7 on Monday, January 5th, including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Honor Roll and Conference statistics for men's and women's basketball.

Women's Basketball Update (4-6, 0-0 Skyline) - Full Report

The Rams played in the Western Connecticut Hat City Classic this past weekend and fell, 51-36, to the host Colonials in the Championship Game. Farmingdale State defeated New Jersey City University in the opening round, 62-52, as they held a 1-1 record on the week.

Senior guard Nicole Lanteri (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) was named Skyline Conference Co-Player of the Week as she scored 20 points, had seven assists, seven rebounds and three steals in the opening round win over New Jersey City University. She added seven points in the championship game and shot 42% from the field on the week.

This week FSC will host #3 Amherst on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. and then travel to Sage for their conference opener on Friday at 7:00 p.m.

Men's Basketball Update (2-8, 0-3 Skyline) - Full Report

Farmingdale State traveled to Mount Saint Vincent on Saturday but dropped the Skyline game 61-45.

Freshman guard Trey Kinard (Deer Park, N.Y.) recorded a team-high 10 points, while junior guard Ruben Terrero (Brentwood, N.Y.) scored nine in the loss.

The men's basketball team next will host Maritime on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. before traveling to Mount Saint Mary on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
