Skyline Releases Winter Weekly Report #2

- Desvignes named Player of the Week -


New York, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the Winter weekly report #2 on Monday, November 24th, including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Honor Roll and Conference statistics for men's and women's basketball.

Women's Basketball Update (3-2, 0-0 Skyline) - Full Report

The Rams posted a 2-1 record in three games last week. FSC earned a 67-57 home win over William Paterson and defeated Mount Holyoke, 62-55, in the consolation game of the Amherst Tournament.

Junior guard Andrea Desvignes (Deer Park, N.Y.) was named Skyline Conference Player of the Week. Desvignes averaged 18.3 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.0 steals on the week. She scored 26 points on 11-of-19 shooting and added six steals and five assists in the win over William Paterson. Desvignes poured in 19 points and grabbed seven boards against Mount Holyoke and had 10 points in an 86-64 loss to Baruch.

The Rams are off until Tuesday, December 9th when they travel to NYU for a non-conference game at 6:00 p.m.

Men's Basketball Update (1-4, 0-0 Skyline) - Full Report

The men's basketball team dropped non-conference games against Stockton, Cortland and Ithaca last week.

Freshman forward Eriq Williams (Valley Stream, N.Y.) averaged 7.3 points and 7.0 rebounds and was named to the Cortaca All-Tournament Team.

The Rams next will host Mount Saint Vincent in a Skyline Conference game on Tuesday, December 2nd at 7:00 p.m.
