Skyline Releases Winter Weekly Report #14

New York, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the Winter weekly report #14 on Monday, February 24th, including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Honor Roll and Conference statistics for men's and women's basketball.

Women's Basketball Update (16-8, 13-1 Skyline) - Full Report

The Rams posted a 3-0 mark last week and clinched the #1 seed for the playoffs with wins over St. Joseph's, Old Westbury and Mount Saint Vincent.

Junior guard Camille Romero (Queens, N.Y.) was named to the Skyline Conference Player of the Week Honor Roll. Romero averaged 22.3 points and 4.7 rebounds in three games for Farmingdale State.

This week the Rams will host #4 Mount Saint Vincent in the Skyline Semifinals on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. The Championship game will be played on Saturday, March 1st at the site of the highest remaining seed.

Men's Basketball Update (17-8, 13-5 Skyline) - Full Report

The men's basketball team was 1-2 last week and earned the third seed for the Skyline playoffs.

Senior forward Donald Lawes (Queens, N.Y.) was named to the Player of the Week Honor Roll. Lawes averaged 19.7 points and 11.7 rebounds over three games.

Farmingdale State will host #6 St. Joe's in the Skyline Quarterfinals on Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. The winner will travel to #2 Mount Saint Mary for the semifinals on Thursday and the finals will be held on Saturday at the site of the highest remaining seed.
