New York, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the Winter weekly report #1 on Monday, November 18th, including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Honor Roll and Conference statistics for men's and women's basketball.

Men's Basketball Update (2-0, 0-0 Skyline) - Full Report

The Rams opened the season with two victories at the Casella North Country Invitational hosted by SUNY Potsdam. Farmingdale State defeated Clarkson 71-67 on Friday and earned a 71-63 win over Potsdam on Saturday.

Senior guard Terence Henderson (Bronx, N.Y.) was named to the Skyline Conference Player of the Week Honor Roll. He averaged 17.5 points and six rebounds while earning Tournament MVP honors.

This week Farmingdale State will play their home opener against Medgar Evers on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.

Women's Basketball Update (1-1, 0-0 Skyline) - Full Report

The Farmingdale State women's basketball team spilt a pair of games at the season opening Richard Stockton Tip-Off Tournament.

Senior guard Nicky Young (Queens, N.Y.) was named Skyline Conference Player of the Week. Young was named to the All-Tournament Team as she averaged 27.5 points, 11.5 rebounds and 7.5 assists over two games. She scored 30 points, grabbed 14 boards and added nine assists in the Rams' 83-79 win over St. Mary's (MD). Young had 25 points and nine rebounds in a 72-55 loss to Western Connecticut State. She added six steals and five 3-point field goals on the week.

This week the Rams will travel to William Paterson on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. and head to Amherst for a matchup versus Ithaca on Saturday at 8:00 p.m. and a second game on Sunday.
